Every Thursday from 6–8 PM, The Wyoming Wanderers bring lively music and fellowship to Wyoming UMC! They’re joined by talented friends for an informal jam session where everyone’s welcome to sing along or simply enjoy the music. Listeners also provide refreshments. Come join the fun!
Our mission focus for June is supporting Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge, a wonderful organization offering effective, affordable treatment for people overcoming chemical dependencies and life-controlling problems.
On Sunday, June 21, we are blessed to welcome the MN Adult and Teen Challenge Choir to Wyoming UMC. They will lead our worship service, sing, and share inspiring personal testimonies of hope and recovery.Please plan to attend this special program and prayerfully consider how you can support their work:
Financial Match: A generous congregation member will match all donations raised by our church up to $5,000!
High Impact: 85% of all funds raised go directly to client programming
Proven Success: They have helped 3,475 recent clients, with 80% abstaining from substance use. They also reached 43,000 students with school prevention programs in 2022.
Broad Reach: They operate 12 Minnesota locations, including a women’s facility, legal aid clinic, veteran’s outreach, and child protective services.
Celebration Potluck: They love a good meal! We are hosting a potluck immediately following the service. Please start planning early so we can serve them our very best dishes.
