Weather permitting, we walk on the paved path that parallels Forest Boulevard. We meet at the church and walk together at a pace that’s comfortable for everyone.

Course Synopsis: Just what are we doing here? Every week on Sunday we gather in this space to worship God, but how many of has have taken the time to question this practice? Why do we do this? Why do we worship in the way that we worship? Where do these practices come from? What do they do? In this course we will attempt to explore these questions by breaking down a worship service over the course of nine weeks, with each week focusing on a different practice. Through mini-lectures and group discussion, we will look at these practices from a practical, historical, and, most crucially, a theological perspective. As we explore this material together, we will be able to deepen our appreciation of worship and be more intentional about the practice of our shared faith.
