Pastor Jeff Speaks is a licensed local pastor and a certified candidate for ordination in the United Methodist Church. He earned his Ph.D. in theology and philosophy from Boston University and his M.A. in religion and theology from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Jeff is a lover of worship (including preaching and the sacraments) and of religious education. He is especially passionate about adult religious education and helping people deepen and enrich their faith.
Beyond the walls of the church, Jeff is an avid community theater actor with more than thirty years of experience. He loves to sing, to play guitar, and to cook. Jeff is also a film nerd and frequently spends his nights off watching art-house and cult classic films at the movie theater down the street from his house. He lives in Lake Elmo with his wife (Kelsey) and his two children (Aurelia and Whitaker).
